Reproducing the Issue
How can we hide or disable the Directory Search in Company Info
You may need to create a Support incident to disable the "User Directory" at the backend (Provisioning).
Please take note that the "Action Search" will also be disalbed if the "User Directory" is disabled.
You can also permission it> Admin Center > Permission Roles > General User Permission > scroll down to 'User Search' - disabling this will remove access to the Directory. However we do not recommend this as it will also remove access to the People Search/ Action Search and it may also impact other modules using the search option, which would need to be clarifed with the respective teams.
If you wish to have the behaviour of this feature changed, please open an Enhancement Request to have this put on the roadmap for a future release.
