You have configured Single Sign On under Application & User Management but when logging on, you are still asked to select an Identity Provider from the dropdown menu even though only one Identity Provider is maintained.
Reproducing the Issue
- In the Application and User Management go to the Common Tasks section and select Configure Singe Sign-On (SSO).
- Sign on to System using Single Sign On URL.
SAP Netweaver opens asking you to select an IDP from the dropdown menu.
This occurs because Manual Identity Provider Selection is ticket in the Configure Single Sign-On screen.
To resolve, simply untick the box in the task. This will cause the IDP (Identity Provider) to be selected automatically during logon.
