Importing data from a SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Universe (UNX) in SAP Analytics Cloud you see the following error after selecting objects from the universe:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user DOMAIN\SERVER$
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2017
- SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.x
The Universe in question is using an ODBC connection with authentication settings set to use the WinNT user.
Change the authentication method for the connection in Information Design Tool to use SQL Authentication.
SAP Analytics Cloud does not support Kerberos SSO in order to send a valid Windows user from the application to the BI Platform universe.
