Decimal Fraction.png

Cause

  • Dashboards 2.0 is a framework meaning that all tiles behave in the same way.
  • Let's say if you have only one employee there is no reason to show a scale from 1 to 100, as 1 will look very small, so therefore we show scale from 0 to 2.5
  • But if you have a lot of data points then scale will change to higher numbers.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior.

Example 1 -

  • UserA is manager of a Team. There are only 19 employees are present in target population of UserA.
  • UserA has very less Target Population.
  • Hence, scale of Y axis will be shown as 0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 etc.

Example 2 -

  • UserB is Supervisor.
  • There are total 4 members are present under UserB
  • While UserB will execute the Tile, on Y axis employee count scale will be shown as 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 etc.

Hence, scale on Y axis will vary based on the volume (Number of employees) present in the target population of the user running the tile.
