After the application, candidate can't attach additional documents to attachments fields if there is already a document, even though feature "Enable Additional Attachments Post Application" is enabled.
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All Versions
Reproducing the Issue
- Candidate applies to a job;
- After applying to a job, candidate goes to Career Site -> Jobs Applied -> View Application and Add Attachments;
- Field for Attachments is not editable;
If the Attachment field is configured with the Type "multiattachmentselection", once the field contains an attachment, it is no longer editable.
The only attachment field supported on Candidate Profile is "multiattachmentselection". Therefore, in case documents uploaded on the candidate profile needs to be be automatically available in the same field within the application, the same field id on the application it will not allow updates post application.
multiattachmentselection: A field that can have multiple documents uploaded and attached. Acts as a mini library where all documents uploaded are stored for later re-use without requiring they be uploaded again. Select the additional checkbox next to all uploaded files and to attach the document to the record. Most candidates will not be familiar with this field behavior so this field should not be used in a candidate-facing configuration.
Documents uploaded to multiattachmentselection fields on the candidate profile will be automatically available in a field with the same field id on the application; the applicant can delete the attachment if desired. All file types can be used for multiattachment and multiattachmentselection except .mp3 and .mp4.
Once a document has been added to the field, it cannot be edited. For example, if a candidate attaches a document to this field, the recruiting user cannot edit the field, even if they have write permissions. If the field is empty and the recruiting user has write permissions, they can upload an attachment to the field, but once the field contains an attachment, it is no longer editable.
