We were are able to prevent MSS/ESS in the mobile app so that the data was not seen on the mobile, now with PP3 we have lost the functionality to turn this off.
Cannot Turn off MSS/ESS in the Mobile app when People Profile "PP3" Enable
Before Enabling PP3 or People Profile
Go to Admin Center then Enable Mobile Features.
Result: Scrolll down to Module Then Employee Central ESS/MSS
Enabling PP3 or People Profile
- Go to Admin Center then Enable Mobile Features.
- Result: Feature "ESS/MSS" lost
This is Expected Behaviour and not a bug. The system is currently worked as designed.
- This is a know impact of PP3 being enabled.
- If PP3 is enabled, by default ESS/MSS will be enabled.
However, we encourage you to submit an Enhancement Request to have this functionality considered within future development cycles – you can do this on our Customer Community Portal at http://community.successfactors.com/
