You may wonder how competencies can be created manually in the LMS.
Competencies can be created in LMS manually (for testing purposes mostly). This can be done by following these steps:
- Go to LMS Admin native login URL of your instance
- Navigate to Amdin> performance> Competencies
- Click Add New
- Fill in all the fields
- Click the Add button
Please note that this is only possible LMS when accessed via native login as per the KBA attached (2164928 - LMS - 'Add New' option is not available in Performance>Competencies and cannot be added as a Workflow ).
It is not recommended to create Competencies manually in a Production instance because it could create issues when using the competency in the Development Plan of users.
Note: Should you need assistance to access the instance from the native URL in order to test the Competencies anyway, Support advises to check internally with the LMS administrators of your company to provide you with this access since this is not the default way to access the instance for integrated customers.
