A user who is non-admin, should be able to terminate self as per business requirement. But he/she should not have other Manager Self Service (MSS) options e.g. Editing Job Information details, etc. How do we set up Role Based Permissions (RBP) for it?
Employee Central: RBP
We assume that the user has Employee Self Service (ESS) permissions and can view EC portlet data (may be partially as per the business requirements). In addition to this, he/she should have Edit permissions for fields in Employment Details because these are the fields that will appear in the Termination portlet.
For the user to be able to acess Take Action -> Terminate, the following permissions are needed.
Make sure that the role to which these permissions are given, has a Target population of Self:
