There is some setup work to do before we can use Apprentice Management (AM).
Employee Central: Apprentice Management
- First,We need to activate the feature.
To do this, go to the Admin Center and choose --> Employee FilesManage --> Employee Central Settings. Find Apprentice Management in the resulting screen and move the switch to On.
- Then we need to include the apprentice supervisor in the picklists.
To do this, go to the Admin Center and choose Company Settings -->Picklist Management. Then make the entry highlighted in yellow below.
- We need to create the event types that will be needed in Apprentice Management.We can only do this if we have the Edit permission for the Apprentice Event Type. Once we have it, go the Admin Center and choose Employee FilesManage Data. The event type category you choose as you create your event types determines which fields are relevant during event creation. You can define as much event types as you need, for example one for training workshop, social trainings or for an administration curriculum.
