2479372 - Floor Plans for Ticket

Symptom

Currently there is no plan to converge into a single Floor plan for TICKET in RUI and HTML5 client.

TICKET TI in RUI client is mostly a feature parity to HTML5 and any new changes are only being done in TICKET TI for RUI client. Hence when you completely move to the RUI client, then HTML5 TICKET TI would become obsolete. Thereafter it would be only single UI model.
The recommended way for customizing the TICKET TI in RUI client would to be the following:

  1. Log in to the system in RUI.
  2. Open the Service work center.
  3. Select the Ticket view.
  4. Open any Ticket.
  5. Click on the menu in the top right corner.
  6. Select Open layout in HTML5.

This would launch a new window in HTML5 and display the TICKET TI where you can click on Personalize or Adapt to modify the layout on the RUI floorplan.
