2476054 - Employee Delta Export showing Effective dated information based on time the change has been entered in EC

While querying CompoundEmployee API Data through the Employee Delta Export spreadsheet, the Effective dated information is shown at the time it is entered in the system instead of after it is effective. This might show entries that will happen in the future, outside the report's timerange if the user is considering the Effective Date.

For example: If the promotion of an employee entered today, that, however, becomes effective at the start of next year, this change will be shown in next Excel report run after the change was made.

1. Download the Employee Delta Export and the Excel Add-In from Admin Centre  [For further details please refer to KBA 2358156 - How to query data using the MS Excel Add-In from Successfactors]
2. Download and install the Excel Add-In and open the Employee Delta Export
3. Enter the relevant parameters related to connection settings  [For further details please refer to KBA 2358156 - How to query data using the MS Excel Add-In from Successfactors]
4. Click on Get Data
5. Notice that the effective dated entries are shown based on the time they're entered into Employee Central

• According to the "Using the Employee Delta Export Add-in for Microsoft Excel" document [Accessible by going to Admin Centre -> Employee Delta Export -> User Guide]:
• For Effective dated information, the Employee Delta Export returns data that has been entered during the evaluation period of the report independently of when these changes become effective.

For example: if the promotion of an employee entered today, that, however, becomes effective at the start of next year, this change will be shown in next Excel report run after the change was made. 

This is an expected behaviour. It is necessary to take this up organisationally, for example by shelving this change.
