What is it:
The adoption of FO/GO field types in the Job Requisition and Offer will allow RCM to support HR Master Data.
Why is it important?
RCM can leverage on the master data defined in MDF (for example using EC), thereby greatly improving on the reusability and consistency of data.
Reproducing the Issue
This enhancement would enable the adoption of Generic Object and Foundation Object field types in the Requisition and Offer.
Note: Employee Central is not Mandatory.
Recruiting now supports HR Master Data in the Requisition and Offer. This enabled the adoption of Generic Object and Foundation Object field types in the Requisition and Offer, which helps leverage master data defined using MDF, which improves data consistency and reuse.
One of the chief advantages for clients in buying a suite of HR software is straightforward transmission of field values between product pillars and unified maintenance of data libraries. Employee Central provides very advanced management and maintenance of key data, and Recruiting has several interface points where accessing this data would reduce the end user’s burden in entering and validating the accuracy of the data. The goal of this enhancement is to provide configuration features by which Recruiting can be properly connected to this key data.
