You are migrating Service Tickets into the system using migration but the Service Ticket ID which was provided in the Migration template is automatically considered as the Service Ticket ID in C4C. You would like to know whether there is an option to use Conversion for ID (where system generates ID from C4C system).
It is the expected system behavior that there is no conversion for Service Ticket ID.
Question: You may also observe that there is no seperate number range for migration and manual creation of Service Tickets. For example, In C4C the last ticket ID is 1xxx0001, for migration you enter the ID 2xxx1001, the next document created in C4C is 2xxx1002, losing many ID's.
Answer: There is no separate number range for Service Tickets for Migration in C4C. Hence, when you migrate the Service Requests through migration, then the last id of the service request will be considered while creating a service request in C4C.
