Symptom

How to create a rule to display email address in documents generated via document generation feature

Environment

Employee Central Document Generation

Resolution

Step 1:Create a new rule

Base object DocumentMappingRuleResult

Add a parameter Email Information

Create the logic as per below screenshot.GenericString4 in the THEN condition is a  field from DocumentMappingRuleResult Object definition.

You can create different rules for other email types too.

Step 2:Add above rules under Manage Document Template Mapping Page

Admin center---->Manage Document Template Mapping---->Choose respective template---->Assign rule to the respective placeholder .
