2465200 - How to add Attachment for Self Record Learning from the user side of LMS

Symptom

Is it possible to attach a document when the User performs "Record Learning" from Record Learning in the Links tile in the User side?

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

Resolution

Please follow the below step to record learning. In the last step of the Record Learning, User will get an option to add an attachment (note that the view may be different if Catalog 3.0 is/isn't enabled):

1) Click in Record Learning in the Links tile;

2) Click "Item based event";

3) Hit the small "+" sign to add an item for which you want to Record Learning;

4) Add the item from the Catalog;

5) Fill in the grade or select Completion status (depending on the selected item) and hit continue;

6) You will get all the details. Clicking on record learning, you will get option for the adding an attachment.
