Customer not contacted through email campaign execution.
Reason: Contacting member isn't permitted.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Marketing work center.
- Go to Campaigns view.
- Open concerned campaign that has been activated.
- Go to the Exeution Details facet.
- Check the Reason specified.
The cause for the issue is that the Contact Permission field is set to Check Permission.
Check Permission status is an intermediate status which is used to disallow the contact of the customer until a decision is taken whether to allow a campaign to contact a customer or not. Simply put, this status does not allows the campaign to contact the customer till you verify whether the customer can be contacted or not via campaigns.
This this is stringent status which would make the customer not addressable by any of the communication channels i.e. Email, SMS, etc. This is done as a check for compliance.
This is system behavior. Maintain the Contact Permission as Blank or Allowed, as per requirement.
