When navigating to Admin Center > Manage Pending Hires and selecting an Internal Hire, when the Hire wizard page loads, you encounter "An Application Error" and you are not able to proceed with the Internal Hire.

The user performing the Internal Hire is not permissioned to edit the Employment Information data (Employment Details, Job Information, Job Relationships Info, Compensation Info, etc).
The current solution:
Ultimately, the user performing the Internal Hire action requires EDIT permission to the Internal Hires "Employment Information" data.
- Perform the Internal Hire as a System Admin (who has EDIT permission to all Employment Information elements and fields - with the Target Population = Everyone/All)
- Grant the Hiring Manager EDIT permission to the Internal Hires "Employment Information" elements and fields
An internal Enhancement Request is open under ECT-70686 to provide a clear error message to communicate which permissions are missing, in order for the Hiring Manager to complete the Internal Hire process.
The behaviour in itself however, will not be change. It is expected that a user performing an Internal Hire via the Manage Pending Hires wizard, should be restricted to user data that is granted to them via their granted Permission Roles Target Population.
