In order to process and analyse cases related to Reports in ByD or C4C that are related to Performance or even Time Out issues during the report execution, please provide the following information before sending a reporting-related incident to support:
- Is it a standard or custom report ? (You may find this out via the report details or Technical Information via the Created By field)
- Is there any custom view or specific settings used ?
- What is the report name, the report ID and data source ID ? (To learn how to show or use the report ID you may check the CD 1652460)
- What is the precise selection set on the variable screen (Edit Filter Screen) ?
- What is the expected behavior ?
- Steps to reproduce the issue.
Business Impact and Incident Priority
Please note that not being able to run a standard or custom report due to time out issues does not generally justify Very High priority, as the system is not able to render lots of transactional data. Besides, by adding more filters to get the results in chunck mode will problably fetch the data without time out or performance issues.
