Symptom

In order to process and investigate issues in the area of purchasing and projects efficiently, we should gather the following information:

Case 1: Error in the document

  • Steps to reproduce along with Work center and View in which the issue occurs.
  • Document ID of the affected document as an example (shopping cart, purchase request, purchase order, goods and service receipt, supplier invoice, projects and project invoice request).
  • Error message that occurs and the action that triggered the error message.
  • Can this issue be reproducing and do we have the permission to reproduce this in your system.
  • In case of data change in productive system can this issue be reproducible in your test system and permission for the same.
  • Changes that were performed.
  • What is the actual result and what is the expected result.
  • Is this issue a general issue or does this only occur for a specific user (in this case please provide the user).
  • In case the issue occurs when data is uploaded to your system please provide the respective file (migration template, excel file or SOAP request and SOAP response) as an attachment in the Incident.
  • Business Impact the issue has on your company or for your users.

Case 2: Dump

  • Steps to reproduce along with Work center and View in which the issue occurs.
  • Document ID of the affected example like (shopping cart, purchase request, purchase order, goods and service receipt, supplier invoice, projects and project invoice request )
  • Is this issue occurring for all the documents or does this occurs for a specific document.
  • Is this issue a general issue or does this only occur for a specific user (in this case please provide the user).
  • Can this issue be reproducing and do we have the permission to reproduce this in your system in case data is changed or created (possibly in a test system). 
  • In case of data change in productive system can this issue be reproducible in the test system and permission for the same.

Case 3: Unexpected System Behvaiour

  • What is not working.
  • What is the expected behaviour.
  • Steps to reproduce along with Work center and View in which you could see wrong behaviour.
  • Provide us an example which will help us to analyse and replicate the issue.
