2437537 - Unable to record Failure Status for Online courses in LMS

We have a SCORM content which we want to record even when users fail in the assessment of the content, so have setup the Failure Status at Item level:



But, when the users fails the assessment the LMS is not recording the failure status in Learning History.

Content would be sending the completion status (Lesson_Status) as "incomplete" to LMS rather than "Failed" status.

For LMS to mark the content as Failed in learning History, it will look for failure status from the content when it receives the communication from the content.

So, please work with your content vendor to have the content updated to send the Completion Status as "Failed"/"Fail"/"F" back to LMS when users complete the course rather than "incomplete" as Status.
