2435021 - Job Collection Import Methods for Maintenance - Recruiting Marketing

What are the main methods available to be used for collection/import jobs during the maintenance process?

SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK) - All versions with Job Collection method (non RTJS customer)

There are three main methods used to collection/import jobs during the maintenance process:

  1. Standard - This means that no additional switches are used when running maintenance.  This is the standard import method used for nightly job collections, ad-hoc collections, etc.  The import process updates jobs based on content in the job changing when it is collected in Kapow (Title, Location, Descriptions, etc).
  2. Forced Update - This is used when you have made a change to a robot, such as adding or changing a field that is not part of the 'trigger' to perform an update to the job.  This will update EVERY JOB in the collection (minus manually entered jobs), and can take quite a bit of time for larger clients with thousands of jobs.
  3. Forced Load - This is used ONLY when you need to override the 80/20 rule due to a significant count in jobs, and should only be used to true up job counts that have truly dropped to cause the error (vs. an ATS error preventing the collection from picking up all jobs). This can, and will have significant [negative] impact on the Client's career site if run incorrectly.

All three of these items are only available to the Job Collection team to call and run, and are not available in Command Center or any other portal for general use. If you have a request to run options 2 or 3, please reach out to the Job Collection team in Professional Services through your CSM/account representative or through a Support incident.
