Reproducing the Issue
Import employee data using any of employee import file which have been provided RBP and target population,
specifically among these: Compensation Info, Pay Component Recurring and Pay Component Non recurring, Job Info,mJob Relations Info.
The error is caused by one of the featured delivered in b1608.
The feature is mistakenly kept ON during hire import. More background on the feature below:
- Customer need a way in the system, where customer can define that a particular admin user could import the data for a specific type of element for specific set of users.
- To make this feature as backward compatible, we have provided the switch : "Enable RBP Access Validation for EC Elements during Imports (Do not enable during first time import)" under RBP page. This switch can be used to enable RBP access check validation during imports. So this feature becomes an opt-in feature.
- As the above settings take into consideration target elements and target population, which would not exist yet for new employees being added to the system via import, it results into errors.
For hire imports or first time data imports, please disable this RBP and proceed with the import.
