Is it possible to add Google Analytics to SAP Jam?

There’s no roadmap/plan to support Google Analytics as of today (Feb. 2017).  While SAP Jam supports adding HTML to create a custom footer, we do not support customers adding arbitrary JavaScript such as the Google Analytics code snippet being added due to the security risk of that arbitrary JavaScript potentially being a method to compromise login information, a vulnerability known as cross-site scripting. (For more information on cross-site scripting, please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_scripting). It’s why we also disallow adding <script> and <embed> elements in the HTML editor for any rich text content as well.
We’re always open to hearing suggestions and requests for functionality, though, and the best place if they are also a SuccessFactors customer is to submit those ideas is via the SuccessFactors Community for Jam (https://community.successfactors.com or https://influence.sap.com/successfactors).  If there is enough demand, we can consider adding support to allow a customer to specify their Google Analytics tracking code vs. having them try to enter JavaScript in their pages.  As of today, we are not aware of any other customers having requested support for Google Analytics, though.
One comment that might be helpful here: it’s worth noting that Jam does provide built-in, detailed graphical dashboards as well as reports at both a group and company level.  Using those reports, customers can quickly and easily determine key performance and usage measures, such as: most frequently read and engaging content and groups, most engaged employees, how often new content is being created, and so on.  The built-in dashboards and reports will provide more information than Google Analytics would be able to capture, since we know more about the currently logged-in user and what specific actions they’re invoking (such as “liking” content).  In fact, just about the only things that Jam does not capture already in its dashboards and reports are: click stream, browser version, and geographic location (IP address).
