2425056 - Permissions incorrect in Analytics when using proxy


After accessing Analytics as self or proxying as a user, then proxying as a different user, the permissions in Analytics appear to be those of the previous user.

Certain browsers and browser settings (not yet identified) can cause the Analytics cache to be retained across the proxy action, so that the user continues to effectively use ORD as the first user even after proxying.


Try another browser or check your cache settings to see if it helps.

Otherwise there is a way to ensure each new proxy user has its own permissions applied. These steps assume that you are logged in as BizX and have already accessed Analytics as either yourself or someone else.


1. Click Home in BizX to leave Analytics.

2. Open a separate window or tab in the same browser (not a new session; it must share the browser cache with your main window) and enter the URL from Provisioning -> Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Service Settings -> Logout URL to manually log out of Analytics and clear its server-side cache.  You can close this as soon as the login screen appears.  (There may be several URLs in the settings page; use the one containing successfactors.com or sapsf.com.  For instance the URL for any instance on DC4 is: https://analytics4.successfactors.com/Production/HrmlLogout.aspx)

3. Back in your main window, proxy as a new user and access Analytics as normal.
