2423194 - How to import Excel or CSV files when the file exceeds the maximum file size limitation in SAP Analytics Cloud?

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

There are multiple ways you can get all your data to SAP Analytics Cloud:

Split the large file into smaller ones:

  1. Split your data source file in different files. Make sure none of them exceeds the current SAP Analytics Cloud limit.
  2. Create a new model selecting the first file of the lot.
  3. Save the model
  4. In the menu Browse > Models > select the saved model (click the box to the left of the model) and select the top icon Import Data -->]
  5. Select the second file in the lot.
  6. Repeat for all the files.

Load your large file into a database first

  1. Consult with your vendor how to create a database to upload your data saved in files.
  2. When you have your database ready, follow the SAP Analytics Product Guide to connect to your database.

If your issue is not resolved you can start an SAP Analytics Cloud Discussion in the SAP Community.
