2414239 - Proxy Import error: Bad Column in import file :19

• We are trying to use the Proxy Import feature but is not working.
• I have downloaded the blank CSV template as provided on the Import Proxy screen.
• No matter what we provide, we receive and error "Bad column in import file :19"

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

2. Proxy Import
3. Download blank CSV template
4. Enter  a proxyID as Column A User ID to be proxied as Column B YES in Column C Save as csv.
5. Proxy Import
6. Import Proxies using the saved file.

• This issue was caused by the having a comma in one of the Tab names.
• This caused 2 columns to be created in the template instead of one.
• One of the tabs defined in the instance had a comma in the name:
  "Performance, Career and 360"  Because of the comma, an extra column was created in the template: "Performance", " Career and 360"

1. Admin Center
2. Company Settings
3. Text Replacement and do a global change for "Performance, Career" to Performance Career"
4. Log out and log back in a new browser window.
   You can verify the change by using the Drop Down Menu on the Home Page and see the name has changed.
5. Go to Proxy Import and download the template - you will see the columns are now correct.
6. Update with file with the desired changes.

Note: The Proxy import file needs to have exactly the same column headers as the template downloaded.
