2410800 - Some of the Users not able to see Inbox in Compensation

Symptom

  • Some of the employees are missing the compensation Forms lnbox link even though permission to access Compensation is in place.
  • Only Executive review is available and Inbox is missing.

Reproducing the Issue

  • Log into instance and proxy as affected user.
  • Navigate to compensation and can see that Inbox is missing.

Cause

  • This is because none of the forms have come to user for approval till now.
  • There is no separate permission to provide in RBP for Compensation Inbox. Whenever any form comes to the user for first time inbox will appear automatically.

 

Resolution

  • If affected user is Compensation planner or one of the approver in route map and when form reaches him for approval then Inbox link will appear automatically.
  • Move the form to affected user. Note the Condition to be in the route Map or Planner.
  • Proxy as the user and verify that Inbox link appears now.
