Your requirement is to Rehire a Service Agent XYZ as an Internal Employee in Personnel Administration work center. Upon Rehiring and saving changes, you receive the error:
Error activating employee assignment at position; see detailed messages
Employee XYZ (ID YYYYY) has more than one position assignment per time frame
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Personnel Administration work center
- Go to Regular Tasks view
- Choose the tab relevant to the Country in which you would Rehire the Employee XYZ
- Select Rehire Employee
- Fill the required details
- Select Save
- System throws errors
System does not allow a Service Agent and Employee with the same Employee ID to have the same Job and Organizational Assignment in the system.
Before Rehiring the Employee as an Internal Employee, remove the Job and Organizational assignment for Service Agent XYZ in the Business Partner workcenter.
