In an assignment profile, a post release issue was identified and impacts the Assignment Profiles when the rules include multiple values for Org ID, Dmn ID or Supervisor ID. For these AP, not all users that should be included by the AP are included in the target population.
As a result, when synchronization or propagating the assignment profile occur and since the target population has changed, any related curricula or items included in the assignment profile will be removed from the users removed.
Learning Management System (LMS) 1611
Reproducing the Issue
For example, lets say that we have two organizations: Organization "A" containing 2 users and organization "B" containing 3 users.
1/ create an assignment profile
2/ Create a rule with the attribute "Organization ID", "Domain ID" or "Supervisor ID" that includes more than one value
3/ the result of the users in assignment profile will be the users of organization "A", since it has less amount of users than organization B.
The multiple values are working like an "exclude" operator rather than an "include" operator.
The patch resolving this issue was already deployed to several datacenters and will be deployed to the remaining ones soon.
Following the deployment of the Emergency fix, the first run of the Assignment Profile synchronisation will restore the users assignments in the instance.
A fix for restoring the original assignment dates, required dates and completion statuses is in progress and will be rolled out soon also in all datacenters.
