2393283 - Product Category Field is not Available in the MIgration Template for Registered Products

Symptom

You have a requirment to upload Product Category using migration temlate of Registered Products, but the field is not available in the migration template

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the migration activity Migration of Registered Products
4. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File

Cause

Registered Product is a particular type of Installation Point. When you create a Registered Product, you actually create an Installation Point of type Registered Product

Resolution

To create Registered Products with Registered Product Category use the migration template of Installation Points.  Installation Point Category has to be set to 2 for Registered Products
