Connector run fails with following error: Problem connecting to SFTP Server. Please check your FTP Connection Settings. Note: "com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail" doesn't always indicate issue with authentication. It could be caused for other reasons such as the connection timing out.

Reproducing the Issue
Go to LMS admin side.
System Admin > Connectors > User Connector SF
Click View Errors anc check the timestamp reported by customer. See "Caused by" field.
There is authentication failure problem connecting to SFTP Server which may be caused by incorrect credentials set in Connectors configuration for SFTP.
1.Test FTP Connection, Navigate to System Admin > Connectors > User Connector SF > Click Test FTP Connection
Check whether any errors appears when you click on "Test FTP Connection" to confirm that the issue is related to user credentials of SFTP.

2. Check the user and password set in the Connector configuration for SFTP, go to System Admin > Configuration > Connectors > View
If the customer has configured encrypted passwords instead of original password in the connector configuration , then customer might face this Auth fail issue while connector run.
Connector encrypted passwrod : connector.ftp.password=764cc151b436aba66b186f18af8bbb6f
Please note : The connector FTP password will be in encrypted form in the connector configurations once you click Apply Changes button. So after taking connector configuration backup , Please don't use the encrypted password. Use the original FTP password provided by the SF. This will fix the issue.
