2386887 - Marriage Benefit not added to employee

Symptom

A workflow is triggered after an employee changes his/her Marital Status to Married and Married Since date to a past date in Personal Information portlet. The Marriage Benefit does not get added to the employee's Benefits even after the workflow is approved.

The ecMaritalStatus picklist is configured correctly.

The Marriage Benefit is configured correctly as per the Benefit handbook.

Cause

The Benefit has a Pay Component in Benefits Payment Options section. The approver of the workflow does not have permissions for this Pay Component.

Resolution

If the instance does not have Payroll integration, the entry of Pay Component can be removed from the Benefit.

OR

Maintain correct permission through RBP for the workflow approver.
