2377385 - How to set the reporting level to be displayed for supervisor

Symptom

When a supervisor can view the details of their direct reports and indirect reports.

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Resolution

To ensure that the supervisor ony sees their direct reports the following setting needs to be update

System Admin > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS Admin

Search for reportingLevelsToDisplay

# This value is the number of reporting levels down displayed to a user and
# should be an integer equal to or greater than 0. 
# Default: 0
# Example:
#   If set to 0, the user will see all direct and indirect subordinates.
#   If set to 1, the user will see their direct reports only.
#   If set to 2, the user will see their direct reports and direct reports reporting into their direct reports and so on
reportingLevelsToDisplay=0

As it's currently set to 0, this will need to be updated to 1 so that supervisor sess direct reports only.
