Symptom

SAP BusinessObjects Cloud gives "Service Unavailable  The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Cloud 2016.19.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure Apache Reverse Proxy per "Live Data Connection to SAP HANA via Apache HTTP (Simple URLs)"
  2. Connect to your SAP BusinessObjects Cloud tenant via Apache
  3. Log in
  4. Notice the error

Cause

Missing "/" character in your ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse lines

Resolution

  1. Edit your Apache conf file
  2. Change "ProxyPass / https://${SAP_BUSINESSOBJECTS_CLOUD}" to "ProxyPass / https://${SAP_BUSINESSOBJECTS_CLOUD}/"
  3. Change "ProxyPassReverse / https://${SAP_BUSINESSOBJECTS_CLOUD}" to "ProxyPassReverse / https://${SAP_BUSINESSOBJECTS_CLOUD}/"
