2373910 - Route Map User Interface Improvements - PMv12 Acceleration (b1608, Q3 2016)


The route map look and feel has changed after the Q3 B1608 release. Due dates for each step are missing and not all information that were previously available are displayed.

Reproducing the Issue

Open a PM Form and notice the route map on top of the page. It looks different now compared to the route map prior to the b1608 release.

It looks like this now:





This is a Universal User Interface change that was implemented on the b1608 release made for better usability and experience. The changes include:

  • Carousel arrows updated and always visible (when present)
  • Numbers have been added to each step
  • Only the step name will be visible in the user interface and the current step name will be bold
  • All other step information is visible in the [i] popup:
  • User’s name and role
  • Route Map step mouseover text
  • Actions have been made more prominent
  • Iterative and Collaborative steps are denoted by a “people” symbol
  • Completed steps are denoted by a “checkmark” symbol

Route Map Step information can be seen on Team Overview page (if enabled on your instance) and this is where you will find due dates on each step now as shown below:





This is expected behavior now and there is no configuration on template settings or UI level that can change the look and feel of the current route map.
