You require to view the Account Hierarchy of a Customer. On selecting the Hierarchy view, the system throws error.
You are Not Able to Open this Link due to a Missing Work Center View Assignment
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Customers work center
- Go to Accounts view
- Search any Account and Open the Account
- Go to Account Hierarchy tab
- In the Account Hierarchy Name field, select the Hierarchy view
- System throws error
User needs to have authorization to access the Account Hierarchy, otherwise it cannot be accessed through the Hierarchy view in the Customers.
To assign the Account Hierarchy view to the user, follow the steps below:
- Go to Application and User Management work center
- Go to Business Users view
- Find the user and select Edit->Access Rights
- Go to the Work Center and View Assignment tab
- Select Find
- Search for the View ID CODACCHIERWCV
- Select Locate
- Flag the Assigned to User check box for the mentioned view
- Select Save
After the above settings, the user should be able to go ahead. Note that the user needs to logout of the system, and login again so that the changes take place.
