SAP BusinessObjects Cloud gives "dberror(ResultSet.next): 312 - sequence is exhausted" error when connecting

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Cloud 2016.16.1

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Browse to your SAP BusinessObjects Cloud tenant
  2. Log in using your credentials
  3. Notice the error

Cause

A setting on the server has caused the trace logs to exhaust the available sequence

Resolution

  1. Browse to http://support.sap.com
  2. Report an Incident
  3. Select Component LOD-ANA-BI
  4. Ask SAP Operations to reset the sequence and turn on cycle
