The issue is regarding feasibility of a requirement in Time Off module. In one of our customer location holiday calendar is not according to standard behaviour. No Standard Holiday and fixed work schedule Standard Work schedule from Monday to Friday won't work because Saturday & Sunday are working days (spring festival).
How to make it automate the work schedule and time off?
If I propose a solution as “inform the employees about the working days on Saturday and Sunday through corporate communication” - if employee wants to take leaves on Saturday and Sunday, system won't accept because work schedule is from Mon – Fri - If I include in Time Off as “include calendar days”, when employee applies for leave, Saturday and Sunday also will get counted during normal scenarios. For e.g if an employee applied leave for 3 days from Friday, system will include sat and Sunday and count as 5 days. - HR admin can change the work schedule during this time but it is a 3 times change in record for all employees in time information under job information portlet. They have 3 leave types in such type, (Spring festival, dragon fest and national holiday) results in 9 records.
Is there any way to meet this requirement?

Reproducing the Issue
Step 1) Create Work schedule which contains only one day, which is a working day. That means, all days you assign this work schedule via temporary time information, are working days – except if there is a half day or full day holiday on the same day.
Step 2) Assign this work schedule to all employees, which should work on spring festival for the time period of the spring festival (e.g. 13th August 2016 – 14th August 2016). This can be done via “Import and Export Data” for Object “Temporary Time Information”. You can add all employees which should work on the spring festival to the csv file and import it.
