Users with access to Employee Central data in BizX are nevertheless restricted from viewing any of it in Detailed Reporting for an ODS instance, or Advanced Reporting for a Realms instance.
As an indicator of this, in Detailed Reporting the Detailed Reporting submenu appears but no options appear when you expand it. EC Standard Reports give RBP errors but the messages in the Security log name EC objects the user can definitely access.
SuccessFactors Advanced Reporting in the Online Report Designer
The internal configuration for Advanced Reporting includes the option "Use Detailed Reporting RBP Security". If this option is off for any reason, users' RBP in BizX will be ignored and most or all EC data will be inaccessible via the reporting tool.
Ask those in charge of configuring Advanced Reporting for your instance (admin, partner, Customer Success) to check the Org Local Config Admin to see whether "Use Detailed Reporting RBP Security" is active. If not, have it activated.
