2356275 - Access Restriction for the Social Media Messages and Templates are not Supported

Symptom

Access restriction for the Social Media Messages and Templates is not working.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
  2. Go to the Business Roles view.
  3. Search and open the business role ABC (ABC represents the ID of the business role).
  4. Go to the Access Restriction tab.
  5. Enable No Write Access for below views:
    • SEOD_SMA_SADL_WCVIEW (Social Media Messages)
    • COD_SEOD_TEMPLATE_WCVIEW (Templates)
  6. Login to the HTML UI with a user assigned to the Business Role ABC.
  7. Go to the Service work center.
  8. Go to the Social Media Messages view.
  9. User can still create and save a New Social Media Message.
  10. Same is applicable for Template view.

Cause

Currently we do not support access restriction for Social Media Messages and Templates functionality.

Resolution

This is the expected behavior of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.
