Before the b1608 Q3 2016 Release, users can create Achievements by adding a comment in the Activity and tag it as an Achievement.
Continuous Performance Management
Reproducing the Issue
- In a b1608 instance, go to Continuous Performance tab.
- In the Activities tab, click Add Update under one of the activities.
- You will notice that the Achievement icon is no longer available.
To simplify the overall user experience for creating Achievements, the process of adding a comment and then tagging it as an Achievement has been removed. The new behavior is expected as per the enhancement request SL-672.
Starting from B1608 we do not support tagging of Activity update as Achievement anymore.
Updates (comments under the Activity) are not achievements. These are regular comments by the user. Achievements do not show up under the Activity. Previously we used to show Achievement tag next to those updates which have corresponding Achievement but that behavior is not supported anymore.
You can continue to add Achievements directly from the Achievements tab, as well as convert an activity to an achievement when the activity status changes to 'Complete.'
