2352919 - Error Message: "Changing Status not Possible; Field is Read-Only" while Changing the Status of the Service Request

Symptom

You have a requirement to modify the Status of the Service Request IDs from Closed to Completed using Mass Data Maintenance or Migration, but you receive the below error:

Changing Status not possible; field is read-only

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Mass Data Maintenance work center
  2. Select Export Service Requests link
  3. Export the General tab to CSV file and modify the Status from Closed to Completed
  4. Select Import Service Requests link and Upload the file to the General tab.
  5. Execute Data Import Immediately
  6. Error occurs

 Or

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center
  2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
  3. Search and Open the migration activity Migration of Service Requests
  4. Upload the Migration File
  5. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File with Migration Mode Modify already existing records
  6. You receive the error

Cause

You will not be able to change the Status of the Service Request ID from Closed to Completed using Mass Data Maintenance or Migration method.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.
