Resolution

The requirement is that Employee should not contribute anything during Benefit Enrollment.

The steps are as below:

Set ‘Payroll Integration’ as ‘No’ in the Benefit.

Do not Configure the ‘Employee Contribution Detail’ Section in the Benefit

Now, in Benefit Enrollment UI (or in the Benefit Enrollment Import), you can leave the Employee Contribution Amount/Percentage field (or column) as blank and enroll for the benefit.

                                                                                                                          OR

if you need the Payroll Integration to be set as 'Yes', then folow the below work around:

Create 2 benefits , one benefit with Payroll Integration as 'No ' , and no employee contributions (only employer contribution benefit ) . Second Benefit with Payroll Integration as 'Yes' , and set the employee contribution amount/percentage.

The eligibility rules for the Benefit could be such that if the user has enrolled for one benefit , then he is not eligible for the second benefit .

So , if the employee doesnt want to contribute , he can enroll for Benefit 1 and Benefit 2 will then be not eligible for him . Similarly , if an employee wishes to contribute he can enroll for Benefit 2 , which will also be integrated with deductions.
