2344724 - Rewards & Recognition - Guideline error

Error messages while importing the guidelines into Reward programs. For example:

"A valid Default Row must be present in the guideline file"

Or

"Please enter positive and valid default, min, max and increment amount values in line number 10 A valid Default Row must be present in the guideline file."

Go to Compensation> Rewards and Recognition> Select the spot award program> Guidelines and import guidelines file.

 

This error indicates the guidelines file doesn’t contain a wildcard entry to work with any set of values that is not defined per se as a guideline.

The file requires a wildcard as follows so it will be accepted for import.
