Since the 2016 Q2 release, ORD reports which are automatically sent via email are filtered according to the RBP rights of the recipient user (this was never applied in the preceding release).
How can customers broadcast global reports to users? Is there something special to change in the RBP?
Reproducing the Issue
1) Change the address email of any user with your email address
2) Schedule the an ODS/Realm report for this user (by using the Report Distributor Analytics tool)
3) Check the received report (via email) -> only the authorized population (with respect to RBP) is listed.
Earlier users were able to see the full population using this method.
RBP rights of the recipients were previously ignored by Report Distributor, bypassing these permissions to show restricted data.
The most straightforward way for a customer to send out a global email is to send ONE email to a user with full access, then have that user automatically forward it to an internal mailing list. In other words it's best done outside of our tool.
This is currently working as intended and the reports sent via Distributor must follow through with RBP and is not a change since 1605 release.
