2334727 - Currency Sign not Correctly Displayed for dollar-denominated Currencies (AUD, NZD, SGD, HKD)

Symptom

When entering in the Requisition the Currency Singapore Dollar (SGD), Australian Dollar (AUD) or Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), it shows in the Job Requisition form and Referral Amount, per example, the currency sign for US Dollar ($).

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Recruiting;
  2. Access Job Requisitions;
  3. Create a new or Edit existing Job Requisition;
  4. Update the "Currency" field to:  Australian Dollar (AUD);
  5. Check the currency sign displayed in from of the "Currency" field;
  6. The sign displayed is: $

Resolution

This is actually the expected behavior on current version of application.

Currency codes and signs will be displayed according to Standard ISO currency definitions where, based on the same, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong "$" is the standard currency sign and that A$, S$ and HK$, per example, are considered secondary currency signs.
