- Duplicate Rating Scales are created in the system and it is required to delete them.
- Wrong Rating Scale are created in the system and it is required to delete them.
- Due to business requirement Rating Scales in the system are required to be deleted.
- Rating Scale creation can happen via the competency connector or manually into the LMS system.

As recommendation from LMS support side - you should be very conscious in creating any entity in the LMS system because if the any entity created gets referenced with other related fields then it cannot be deleted from the LMS user interface.
In regards to this particular scenario where wring or duplicate rating scales created and there is a requirement to delete them there are two option mentioned as below -
- You can keep the reference as is as there no issue from the technical side, but if they are creating some logical issue in the system your side and it is absolutely necessary to delete them, then you have to choose the next option.
- You have to delete rating manually from the system, but again you can only delete a rating scale while it is not associated with any competency otherwise the system will not allow to delete it.
