Symptom

How to change/edit an email address of registered user in SAP Roambi Cloud?

Environment

  • SAP Roambi Cloud

Cause

This is by design in Roambi Business.  Once a user is registered, their email address cannot be changed.

Resolution

If licensing allows, register a NEW using the preferred email address.  Next, transfer all documents from the original email (if any content was created under that account, set permissions so that the new email will now own).  Finally, delete the original email/user (this will also free up a license).
