How to create a Roambi CataList view.

Build your CataList

After importing your data, tap "Continue" to create and customize your charts and other data visualization objects.

Tap the Plus (+) icon in the upper right to create one of the visualization objects listed below

  • Table: Table, Data Bars
  • Chart: Column, Combo, Stacked Column, Area, Line, Pie, Comparison

Once you select on the appropriate visualization objedct to display your data, it will be added to the panel below.  For this example we will create a Combo chart.

Tap once on the combination chart to reveal the Edit/Delete/Chart options.  From here, tap on Edit.

This opens the Chart Editor.  Tap on the Plus (+) to select your Measure//Member

For this example, select "Measure".  Choose "Sales" and "Sales Target" as your measures and set your Category Dimension as "Period".

Once you have added those fields, tap "Done".

The Combo Chart will now appear on your Card.  Tap on the Info (i) icon to edit the title.

Once you have finished building your charts, tap "Done" in top left corner to continue to the next step.

Tap "Continue" to choose your levels and configure the Roambi CataList view.

A swipeable object gives mobile device users the ability to use a swipe motion to scroll through the different microcharts in a report.

Tap "Edit Swipeable Objects" and "Edit Object List" to select the Swipe Groups you would like to use.

Once you have selected desired groups, click "Back"

 

In the Swipeable Objects list, you have these options:

  • Drag and drop objects in the list into the desired swipe group order
  • Tap the "Edit Objects List" button to add an object to the list*.

*You can add a maximum of twelve (12) swipe groups.

Select "Add a Level" to choose your levels of hierarchy.  Continue to "Add a Level" until all Levels are chosen.

If you need to re-arrange your levels, tap "Edit Levels" and adjust the order.

Tap "Done" in top left corner to return to continue to the next step.  You are now ready to publish your Roambi CataList view.
