2322738 - LMS: Recommendations Newsletter not sent to all users

Symptom

Some users do not receive recommendations newsletters for recommended items.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System - LMS

Cause

- if the learning item has already been recommended to the user, but has been dismissed - then they will not receive a notification for that recommendation again.
- if the notification interval is defined, then the user won't receive the recommendations newsletter for the number of days defined - for example if a user receives an email on the 4th and the notification interval is set to 2, then they wont receive another email until the 6th (2 days later) assuming they have recommendations.
- if there are more than 4 recommendations made, only the first 4 will be included in the newsletter.

Resolution

By design.
